The plan revolves around the addition of a market hall on the project site. Locally-produced products can be traded in this hall. A slow, (floating) traffic route connects the location to the city centre and the municipal park. In addition to the large hall, a residential tower block functions as a beacon for the new development. The tower is a constructional challenge. The volume is wider at the top than at the base and has a turn. It stands on a concrete base with an overhang on one side to create space for the cycle track. The hall and tower have diverse, sustainable technologies, from solar panels to concrete-core activation.
